The Chicago Bears saw quarterback Jay Cutler leave their Week 2 game Sunday with what turned out to be a hamstring injury. Cutler threw an interception late in the second quarter and apparently suffered the injury in the subsequent attempt at a tackle. Jimmy Clausen took over for Cutler in the Bears' 48-23 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
Jay Cutler pulls hamstring, hurting already tenuous fantasy value
The Bears quarterback was forced from the game after throwing an interception. We break down the fantasy implications.

Before leaving, Cutler completed eight of his nine pass attempts, going for 120 yards, one touchdown and that interception. He also ran for 24 yards on three rush attempts. In his stead, Clausen completed 14 of 23 passes for 121 yards and one interception.
Fantasy impact: The prognosis for Cutler will likely come down early Monday. If he misses extended time, it would be a brutal loss for a Bears team that is already 0-2 and was without wide receiver Alshon Jeffery for Week 2. Clausen wasn't a complete disaster in his one start a year ago, but he wasn't exactly a revelation, either. Any Cutler absence would knock the Bears' weapons down a few pegs.
Cutler himself has seen his fantasy value slip pretty consistently over the last couple seasons. He still has upside, but his baseline and injury combine to make a not-exciting fantasy option. Still, it’s too early to panic yet. Wait until midday Monday to see what news comes down about Cutler’s injury. Maybe you panic then.
