Rishard Matthews is trending as a very productive receiver for the Miami Dolphins. Matthews didn't find the end zone on Sunday, but he managed to stand out with a team-high 115 receiving yards. It was a strong follow-up to his 4-34-1 stat line from Week 1. Matthews doesn't have the speed of the departed Mike Wallace, but he's a sharp route runner with the ability to catch passes in traffic. He's turning into a reliable target for quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The Dolphins will look to fine-tune their offense against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3.
Rishard Matthews leads Dolphins WRs with 115 yards in Week 2, likely available on fantasy waiver wires
Rishard Matthews was the Dolphins’ leading receiver in Week 2. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Matthews would have been completely off the radar if not for his touchdown in Week 1. After his Week 2 performance, Matthews is making a case for himself as a consistent fantasy contributor. He won't see the quantity of targets that wide receiver Jarvis Landry gets, but Matthew's yardage and end zone presence make him an interesting waiver grab. He's available in 98 percent of Yahoo! leagues as of Monday. It's safe to consider Matthews a WR4, but he has enough upside to warrant a waiver grab if you're in need at the position.
