Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford looks likely to play on Sunday, per Dave Birkett of Detroit Free Press.
Matthew Stafford ‘looks like he’ll play’ Sunday for Lions, fantasy owners, per report
The Lions will need all hands on deck vs. the Denver Broncos on Sunday, or they could be facing an 0-3 hole. We break down the fantasy implications.

Stafford was battered and bloodied in Week 2's loss to the Minnesota Vikings, being sacked once and hit eight more times. After the game, Stafford needed X-rays on his ribs, but they revealed no fractures. He will likely be listed as questionable on the injury report with bruises.
Fantasy Spin: With the Lions in an 0-2 hole and with their signal caller practicing on Wednesday, it's difficult to envision that they won't trot their franchise quarterback onto the field. It's as close to a must-win game as the Lions can have at this point in the season, and the Denver Broncos' elite defense could eat backup Dan Orlovsky alive.
Stafford's difficult matchup makes him a middling QB2 at best, although it only slightly downgrades Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate. Both receivers are in WR2 territory with Aqib Talib and Chris Harris opposite them.
