Usually, it's the New York Jets on the back pages of the NY papers and being the laughing stock of the NFL. Well, things have changed a bit with the Jets 2-0 and the New York Giants struggling.
Fantasy football start/sit advice, Week 3: Eli Manning looks to get it going
Eli Manning and the Giants are in dire straits right now. Should fantasy owners start him on the short week?

The Giants just paid quarterback Eli Manning a boatload of money, but he's been awful. In two games, he has just 485 yards, two scores and two fumbles on 47-of-76 passes -- including poor game management in Week 1. Plus, he went up against what was expected to be two sub-par pass defenses in the Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys.
Now, he gets yet another weak secondary when the G-Men take on Washington on Thursday Night Football. Eli actually had some very nice success against them last year. He averaged 3.5 scores and 275 yards in the two victories. Plus, he didn’t have receiver Odell Beckham Jr. for one of those games. The short week is usually a cause for concern, but Eli’s only four-TD game last year came on Thursday and it was against Washington.
Fantasy impact: He’s at home and the matchup is right for him. He’s not quite a top-eight QB given the struggles, but he’s still worth a start in most cases.
