The Atlanta Falcons might as well be in the NFC East right now. They were able to pull out two wins against subpar defenses, the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles, and now they get the Dallas Cowboys in Week 3 -- they play Washington in Week 5, too.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 3: Matt Ryan set for a shootout
Matt Ryan is missing his starting running back, so is he a strong start in fantasy leagues?

Quarterback Matt Ryan hasn't exactly lit it up so far, completing 53 of 80 passes for 661 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for a 93.8 passer rating. The Falcons really used the pass in Week 2 with Ryan putting the ball up 46 times, which should continue because running back Tevin Coleman (ribs) will not play. Plus, the Cowboys have allowed the fewest rushing yards in the NFL.
The Falcons are doing a better job of protecting Ryan this year and it's helped him get the ball down the field to superstar receiver Julio Jones. With Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick out, expect Julio to bust loose again on Sunday.
Fantasy impact: Ryan is likely going to put the ball up enough to be a top-six quarterback this week. He’s close to a must-start option.
