The Arizona Cardinals are hotter than an Arizona summer, especially on offense. Quarterback Carson Palmer is the main reason why, ranking first in touchdowns, third in passer rating and sixth in yards per attempt. The Cardinals are coming off a 48-point effort against the Chicago Bears and will look to keep it going at home against the San Francisco 49ers.
Fantasy start/sit advice, Week 3: Carson Palmer looks to stay hot
Carson Palmer has looked like a Pro Bowl player. Should fantasy owners get him going for Week 3?
Palmer is clicking in coach Bruce Arians' system and he's really on the same page with receiver Larry Fitzgerald, who caught three touchdowns last week. This week, they'll get a reeling 49ers defense. They just gave up 369 yards, three touchdowns and no picks to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger last week --- that's good for a 99.4 total QBR and a 155.8 passer rating.
Fantasy impact: Carson has become a must-play guy right now. The Cards still don't have running back Andre Ellington, so they'll be airing it out yet again and should be able to put up some big points. Start him.
