New York Jets running back Chris Ivory (quad) is active for the team's Week 3 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Ivory was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday before returning to practice on Friday on a limited basis. On Sunday morning, Ivory was absent from the team's inactive list. He will be facing a Philadelphia Eagles defense that has allowed at least 100 yards rushing in each of the first two games in 2015.
Chris Ivory injury update: Jets RB is active for Week 3, fantasy owners can start
The New York Jets running back will play Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Ivory will have a solid match up this week in the Eagles. Their middle-of-the pack front seven gives up the 14th-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. Ivory played through a groin injury last week but the quad issue could keep him out. Ivory has averaged a rock-solid 4.4 YPC and 17 carries per game. He’s a high-end RB2 for the week. Get him in your lineup if you own him in your league.
