Ladarius Green injury update: Chargers TE inactive, won’t play for fantasy owners
The San Diego Chargers tight end is inactive for Week 3. We break down the fantasy implications.
Fantasy impact: Green has been solid through two weeks of play after filling in for the suspended Antonio Gates. He’s averaging five receptions for 60.5 yards and scored in Week 1. There really won’t be another option at the tight end position in San Diego in Week 3. Green’s six target average over the past two weeks will likely be distributed to receivers Stevie Johnson, Keenan Allen, and Malcom Floyd. Green has one more week to perform before the return of veteran Antonio Gates. He still has value in re-draft leagues until we see how effective the 35-year-old Gates will be on the field.
