Todd Gurley is going to make his NFL debut on Sunday. Gurley was not listed on the team's inactive report Sunday morning. There was no doubt Gurley would play, at least according to coach Jeff Fisher. Even Gurley seemingly knew he'll be suiting up on Sunday. Ian Rapoport reported that Gurley flew his family into St. Louis to watch the Rams face the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gurley's snap count is the real mystery here, as he could be splitting snaps with Tre Mason. The Rams could be easing Gurley into what will become a larger role after the team's bye week. Either way, Gurley will finally have an opportunity to prove his first-round draft pedigree.
Todd Gurley injury update: Rams RB is officially active, will finally take the field for fantasy owners
Todd Gurley should finally make his NFL debut in Week 3. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: Fantasy owners that have been storing Gurley on their bench are likely thrilled to finally see him suiting up. Still, there’s reason to exercise a bit more patience here. Again, Gurley’s snap count is unknown at this point. There’s no question he’ll get work, but it’s hard to envision the Rams handing Gurley the reins for a massive workload in his first NFL game. Anything is possible for Gurley on Sunday. If fantasy owners are in dire need of a running back in Week 3, Gurley can be considered as a low-end flex with an intriguing ceiling. Still, it would be best to plug in a known talent at running back if you have the option.
