Dovonta Freeman’s hamstring injury has been lingering for over a month now, and it sounds as if Freeman isn’t completely out of the woods just yet. While Freeman has been practicing lately, the Atlanta Falcons’ official website reports that Freeman is still nursing his hamstring injury.
Devonta Freeman injury update: Falcons RB still nursing hamstring, should suit up Week 1 for fantasy owners
Devonta Freeman is practicing, but his hamstring isn’t completely healed. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Based on reports from last week, Freeman could have played in Thursday's preseason finale if needed. Of course he wasn't needed in an exhibition game. Odds are that Freeman will suit up in Week 1. The Falcons will likely limit his snap count as they allow him to test out his hamstring, splitting carries with rookie Tevin Coleman.
Fantasy impact: Unfortunately for Freeman owners, getting Freeman on the field is only half the battle. Both Freeman and Campbell will see their share of carries. We simply don’t know who will be favored on any given week. It’s a situation to avoid, especially this early in the season. Freeman enters the start of the season as a low-end flex at best.
