According to the Dallas Morning News, Cowboys running back Joseph Randle is expected to begin the season as the team's starting running back.
Joseph Randle expected to start, questions of his usage remain in fantasy leagues
The Cowboys made a trade on Sunday that brought Christine Michael to Big D, however, Joseph Randle is expected to remain the starter. We break down the fantasy implications.

The "starter" designation is one that should be used loosely, however, given that a committee approach will still likely be deployed as soon as the first snap of the game concludes. Amid their quest to compensate for losing DeMarco Murray in the offseason, Darren McFadden, Lance Dunbar and the newly acquired Christine Michael are all expected to complement Randle over the course of the season.
Fantasy Spin: Even behind the Cowboys' elite offensive line, Randle remains a risky bet to produce in 2015 due to questions about his usage. It's a situation that makes for a risky selection at Randle's fourth-round average draft position, and is one for fantasy owners to approach cautiously. Fewer questions regarding usage surround other backs in that draft range, including Andre Ellington and T.J. Yeldon.
For Week 1, the Cowboys have a plus matchup versus a vulnerable Giants defensive front, which warrants flex consideration for Randle to open the season.
