Geno Smith begins limited participation in Jets practice, remains a fantasy liability
Geno Smith is recovering faster than expected. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Even if Smith is able to play before the New York Jets go into their Week 5 bye, he may be waiting for his starting job. Coach Todd Bowles has already stated that Ryan Fitzpatrick will remain the team's starting quarterback as long as he plays well enough.
Fantasy impact: While Fitzpatrick may not be a high ceiling quarterback, he does offer a certain degree of consistency that Smith has yet to deliver. For owners of Brandon Marshall or Eric Decker, it may be best that Fitzpatrick remains the starter for as long as possible. Smith isn't worth owning even in the deepest of fantasy leagues.
