Speaking on Monday, Miami Dolphins Offensive Coordinator Bill Lazor confirmed that DeVante Parker will play during the team's season opener against Washington, according to the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson.
DeVante Parker will play Week 1, fantasy value on the rise
The Dolphins remain optimistic regarding rookie DeVante Parker’s recovery from foot surgery. We break down the fantasy implications.

Lazor added that it is unclear how much Parker will play during his NFL debut, but that he will see field time. Parker continued the recovery process after foot surgery in the summer, and is now healthy enough to line up for snaps in regular season action. The rookie played eight snaps during the Dolphins preseason finale, and will likely be on a snap count out of the gate.
Fantasy Spin: Parker remains a bench option for fantasy owners due to the uncertainty of his playing time, but this news has to be music to his fantasy owners' ears. Sooner than later, Parker will compete with Kenny Stills, Rishard Matthews and Greg Jennings for snaps opposite Jarvis Landry.
The first-round pick is a high-upside stash for now, but it appears that Parker will have every chance to earn significant playing time sooner rather than later.
