Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans sat out Monday's practice due to a hamstring injury.
Mike Evans sits out Monday’s practice, fantasy value remains high
The Buccaneers’ No. 1 receiver sat out Monday’s practice in addition to being shut down for the team’s final two preseason games. We break down the fantasy implications.

Evans was shut down for the second half of the preseason after injuring his hamstring during the team’s second exhibition game. Doing so was precautionary given that hamstring injuries have lingered with other receivers in the past. It is still early in the week, and no concern over missed time was given when Evans first sustained the injury, meaning that there isn’t yet cause for major concern.
Fantasy Spin: While fantasy owners don't have any reason to panic, they certainly have reason to monitor the injury reports throughout the week now that Evans has officially missed a practice during game-week. Should he be limited, expect a boost to Vincent Jackson and Austin Seferian-Jenkins' targets, as well as attempts to establish the run with Doug Martin to take the pressure off Jameis Winston's shoulders.
Evans remains a low-end WR1 in formats across the board, but owners will have to pay special attention to this week’s reports.
