The New England Patriots aren't too worried about missing LeGarrette Blount during his one-game suspension. Jonas Gray, who was slated to lead New England's backfield in Week 1, was waived by the team on Saturday. He was not claimed on waivers and became a free agent on Sunday.
Jonas Gray waived by Patriots, LeGarrette Blount returns for fantasy owners Week 2
Jonas Gray was waived by the New England Patriots. We take a look at the fantasy implications.

Until Blount returns, Brandon Bolden, Dion Lewis and James White will likely each get some reps at running back. Gray performed well in preseason, but seemingly fell out of favor with coach Bill Belichick. He'll likely be picked up by a team early in the season.
Fantasy impact: Gray could have an opportunity to play for a team that will have a defined and consistent role for him. The Patriots now have one less running back to blindside fantasy owners with each week. For the most part, it’s a win-win in the fantasy world. Still, the Patriots can’t be entirely trusted with their run game. And, of course, Gray will be lucky to find a team that isn’t already committed to a timeshare in its backfield. Blount might have a slightly firmer grip as a flex in most formats. Gray isn’t worth stashing even in deeper leagues but deserves to be on your radar until he’s picked up.
