Todd Gurley injury update: RB doubtful for Rams, fantasy owners
The St. Louis Rams running back is listed as doubtful for Week 17. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: The tenth overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft will finish is rookie season with 229 carries for 1,106 yards (4.8 YPC) and 10 touchdowns on the ground and an additional 21 receptions for 188 yards and only one lost fumble. The numbers would be good for any rookie running back but are all the more impressive considering Gurley arrived there on 13 games played, the first of which the Rams simply got his feet wet and only gave him six carries. Tre Mason and Benny Cunningham will pick up the slack with Gurley out. Mason is expected to get the majority of the work but isn't more than an RB3. As long as he stays healthy in the offseason, Gurley a lock to be a first-round pick in 2016 fantasy drafts of all formats.
