Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy (knee) has been ruled out for the team’s Week 17 matchup against the New York Jets. McCoy did not practice at all throughout the week and will miss his second game in as many weeks.
LeSean McCoy injury update: RB ruled out for Bills, fantasy owners
The Buffalo Bills’ running back has been ruled out for Week 17. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: With McCoy out, impressive rookie Karlos Williams will operate as the team’s lead back with Mike Gillislee sprinkled into the mix as well. It was the same situation last week and Williams finished with 76 yards rushing on 17 carries and one touchdown, two receptions for 21 yards, and a lost fumble. Gillislee finished with nine carries for 93 yards and one touchdown. Owners should expect to see a similar split of the carries this week with Gillislee likely to see a few more at Williams’ expense. Both backs are only on the RB3 map against the Jets’ stout run defense, which allows the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.
