Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian is expected to be the starter for the team’s Thursday night meeting with the San Diego Chargers, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Siemian suffered a sprained AC joint in his non-throwing shoulder in the Broncos’ Week 4 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The second-year QB was inactive for the Broncos’ first loss of the season to Atlanta on Sunday. The Broncos started rookie Paxton Lynch in that loss.
Trevor Siemian expected to return Thursday night for fantasy owners
The Denver Broncos expect to have their starting quarterback back in the lineup Thursday night. We break down the fantasy impact.

Siemian was close to playing against the Falcons in Week 5. He will have to play through pain, but should not be limited because of the shoulder injury, reports Rapoport. The Broncos’ starter has thrown for 824 yards and six touchdowns so far this season.
Fantasy Impact: Denver will be happy to have Siemian back in the lineup. He returns to face an ailing Chargers secondary that gave up over 300 yards and two touchdowns last week. Siemian is a good bye week pickup coming off a lot of rest into a favorable matchup.
