The Baltimore Ravens are moving running back Terrance West into the starting lineup on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders, replacing Justin Forsett, according to NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport. While Rapoport described this news as “[a] game-day stunner,” it really isn’t that big of a deal. Forsett has been listed as the starter the first three weeks of the season, but West has accumulated 33 carries to Forsett’s 31 carries. West has been slightly more effective than Forsett, averaging 3.6 yards per carry to Forsett’s 3.2 yards per carry.
Terrance West starting ahead of Justin Forsett, slightly alters fantasy scenario
The Ravens made a lineup change that really doesn’t change much. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy impact: This likely does not change much. West could be in line for a few more carries, but do not expect him to be a workhorse running back for the Ravens. He and Forsett will likely still split carries to some degree. Where this does get interesting is with Kenneth Dixon. The rookie was looking sharp in training camp before a knee injury sidelined him for the start of the season. He could be back as soon as Week 5. He will not immediately claim the starting job, but he will at some point, whether it be later this season, or to start the 2017 season. Dixon is a solid stash in keeper leagues.
