With Week 10 of the NFL season upon us, we take a look at some of the best quarterback values to be found on FanDuel and some players worth fading.

Welcome to Week 10 of the Daily Fantasy season. Pricing has stabilized as trends have emerged but there are still bargains to be found and even some higher-priced options that will go under-owned and can make a difference in your lineups. This article looks at some of the projected lesser-owned plays at quarterback who could provide huge boosts to your tournament lineups, as well as some trap plays to avoid.

PLAY

Marcus Mariota $7,400 (Tennessee Titans vs. Green Bay Packers)

Mariota is quietly putting up one of the more impressive quarterback seasons in fantasy football. All the guy does is throw touchdowns. In the past five weeks, Mariota’s had three three-TD games and two with two touchdowns. Yet his price never seems to rise among the elite quarterbacks, despite all the production. The Packers have not played the greatest of pass defenses this season and the game lines up as a potential shootout. Mariota should fly under the radar a little longer, while putting up another big number.

Ben Roethlisberger $7,700 (Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Dallas Cowboys)

Big Ben was more like Banged-up Ben or Rusty Ben last week against the Baltimore Ravens. In his first game back from a knee procedure, Roethlisberger couldn’t get anything going and his only touchdown pass came in garbage time. Such a horrid performance is sure to drag his ownership way down this week, not to mention a tough matchup against the Cowboys. But there is a lot of offense anticipated in this game, with an over/under around 50. Ben thrives in these types of games and should be among the top producers of the week.

Dak Prescott $7,700 (Cowboys at Steelers)

Could this be the swan song for the rookie sensation? Tony Romo practiced all week, and might be ready next week to regain his starting role. What the Cowboys ultimately decide is still unknown, but Prescott should be highly motivated to assert his control over the job with a big game in Pittsburgh. The Steelers’ run defense has been solid this season, so this probably won’t be an Ezekiel Elliott game. Prescott will be throwing and could be playing for his football life.

Trevor Siemian $7,200 (Denver Broncos at New Orleans Saints)

The Denver rookie has not made our list of recommendations often this season, but if you were ever thinking about getting him in your lineups, now is the time. Siemian has been throwing with abandon since C.J. Anderson went down, putting up 38 and 37 pass attempts in the past two games. Now he takes on the league’s worst pass defense in the Superdome, which, as we say every week, is the Coors Field of the NFL due to its propensity for inflating the passing stats of Drew Brees and his opposite number. The Colorado team’s quarterback playing in the Coors Field of the NFL? Duh.

Carson Wentz $6,800 (Philadelphia Eagles vs. Atlanta Falcons)

It was looking like the No. 2 overall pick for the Eagles had crashed hard into the rookie wall. Wentz had his two worst outputs of the season in Weeks 6 and 7 before turning it around the past two weeks. Wentz does have more interceptions (5) than touchdowns (4) over his past five games, but he is once again trending in a positive direction, and he draws a suspect Falcons defense that will be missing its top cornerback, Desmond Trufant. Wentz’ price has come down and his ownership will be minuscule, but his opportunity to succeed is a solid as ever.

NAY

Cam Newton $7,800 (Carolina Panthers vs. Kansas City Chiefs)

The Panthers have been off their game all season and now they will be missing two starters off the offensive line against one of the better defenses in the league. Newton is at home and he’s certainly capable of a big game, but the risk is higher than usual this week and a fade might be the best course of action.

Russell Wilson $7,400 (Seattle Seahawks at New England Patriots)

Wilson had his best game of the season on Monday night at home against the Buffalo Bills, and that will certainly cause his ownership to spike this week. But he’s not playing the Bills at home on Sunday. He’s at New England, and with the Seattle running game sputtering, Bill Belichick was almost certainly make containing Wilson the top priority of his defense. Wilson will still get things done, but not like he did on Monday.
