Fantasy football projections, Week 10: Cowboys-Steelers featuring Ezekiel Elliott, Dez Bryant, Antonio Brown, more
We break down the Week 10 matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Dallas Cowboys
Running back Ezekiel Elliott continues to shine week after week. While he has been held under 100 yards rushing in each of the last two games, he is still averaging more than 111 rushing yards per contest on the season. People expected him to be a good NFL player, but he’s having a better rookie season than most thought. He rushed 18 times for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 9.
The Pittsburgh Steelers rank 27th in the NFL in terms of fantasy points allowed at the running back position. Elliott should climb back over the 100-yard mark in Week 10 against a defense that may be forced to be on the field longer than it wants to be, thanks to a struggling Steelers offense. Watch out for a big second half of the game from the super rookie.
When called upon, wide receiver Dez Bryant should be able to produce as well. Unfortunately it may take him a few more weeks to really get going, hopefully in time for the fantasy playoffs. Bryant caught just one pass for a 19-yard gain against the Browns. With the Cowboys ahead for most of the afternoon, they obviously didn’t need to use the passing game as much. Still, to have your top receiver targeted just four times is kind of alarming for fantasy owners. They can only hope that changes in Pittsburgh in Week 10. If Bryant doesn’t find chemistry with quarterback Dak Prescott soon, he could cost owners playoff positioning.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger urged fans not to worry earlier this week, as the team’s offense has struggled lately. He did complete 23 passes for 264 yards, a touchdown, and an interception against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 9. It’s not his best stat line of the season but also not his worst. The main point, perhaps, is that the Steelers need to win games. Coach Mike Tomlin says Big Ben looks rusty. Hopefully he can turn it around or else fantasy owners of Roethlisberger and other players on Pittsburgh’s roster will suffer. He may just get bottled up by the Cowboys in Week 10.
At the very least, wide receiver Antonio Brown should still continue to produce. But his stats on the year are not as good as fantasy owners probably hoped they would be. The good news is that Brown did manage to exploit the Ravens. He caught seven of 11 passes for 85 yards and a touchdown against Baltimore. Facing a strong Dallas secondary unit isn’t going to be easy, but Brown is one of the few players in the NFL who is matchup-proof. He should see his regular volume of work and likely a touchdown in Week 10.
