Fantasy football projections, Week 10: Seahawks-Patriots featuring Jimmy Graham, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, more
We break down the Week 10 matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.

Seattle Seahawks
Tight end Jimmy Graham may have taken a long time to find his place within the Seahawks’ offense, but he looked like the leader of it in Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills. He caught all eight of his targets for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Both of his touchdown catches were one-handed grabs. Graham displayed an incredible amount of athleticism and focus throughout the contest.
He should be inspired to perform well in Week 10, not just because it’s a Super Bowl rematch, but also because his counterpart is arguably the best tight end in football, Rob Gronkowski. Graham has only managed to post back-to-back 100-yard receiving games once this season. It’ll be interesting to see if he can do just that in a huge game against the Patriots on Sunday Night Football.
Hopefully Graham’s impressive performance sparks Russell Wilson to play a little better in the pocket. It’s been an up-and-down year for him, not only in terms of fantasy numbers but in terms of his health. The good news is that Wilson finished with 20 completions for 282 yards and two touchdowns against the Bills. He took good care of the football and did not turn it over against a very good defense. Given the Seahawks are likely to play from behind the New England, Wilson should rack up the yardage and the touchdowns in the passing game in Week 10. That bodes well for the possibility of beating his projections at Gillette Stadium.
New England Patriots
What more can anybody say about the performance that quarterback Tom Brady has continued to put on since returning from his four-game suspension earlier this season? He threw for 315 yards and four touchdowns against the Buffalo Bills in Week 8 and then his team got a week off. Not that he needs any rest, but a refreshed Brady is bad news for the Seahawks. He’s certainly up against a good defense, but Brady has already cemented himself as one of the greatest of all time. It’s almost not even worth talking about projections in reference to a player that has yet to throw an interception and has 12 touchdown passes through four games this season.
Brady’s unstoppable play makes tight end Rob Gronkowski equally impossible to defend. He has posted 21 catches, 473 yards, and three touchdowns in the last four games. Coincidence? Absolutely not. Seattle is good at defending opposing tight ends, but it’s hard to envision a scenario where Brady does well and Gronkowski does not. Realistically, teammate Martellus Bennett is the only player who can take anything away from Gronk. Both tight ends should do well on Sunday night, but naturally the upper hand in targets and production will go to Gronk in Week 10.
