Finding a tight end this late in the season is going to be tough. There are so few tight ends making an impact that your best odds are to play the best matchups week to week. That could mean picking up the hot hand off of waivers, or selling a good player for someone better.
Fantasy football trade advice, Week 11: Buy-low, sell-high tight end trade candidates
Which tight ends have the best and worst trade values heading into Week 11 of the 2016 NFL season?

So which tight ends are worth dealing this week? Here are the guys worth buying and selling in Week 11.
Buy Low
Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Brate continues to show up more each week. In Week 10, he caught a season-high seven passes for 84 yards and one touchdown. Brate’s targets, receptions, and yardage increase week to week. He has found the end zone three weeks in a row, and he leads the Bucs in red zone targets over the same span.
Brate is growing into one of Jameis Winston’s top targets and the second-most targeted receiver behind Mike Evans. Available in almost half of the leagues in Yahoo!, Brate continues to be one of the best pickups at a thin tight end position.

Jesse James, Pittsburgh Steelers
James had his best game in the loss to the Cowboys. The second-year tight end had four catches for 59 yards, one of which was a big grab late in the fourth quarter to set up Pittsburgh to take the lead. James didn’t find the end zone, but he came close to getting a two-point conversion grab in the game. The takeaway is that James is on Roethlisberger’s radar more so than any other tight end in the Steelers’ rotation.
Looking ahead to the next few weeks, James has loads of potential. Pittsburgh faces Cleveland followed by Indianapolis — the worst defenses at covering the TE in the league. Buy James now as a streamer for weeks 11 and 12 with potential down the stretch.

Sell High
Antonio Gates, San Diego Chargers
Gates is starting look like his old self. The standout veteran has had over 60 yards receiving in each of the past two weeks, and he has scored three weeks in a row. Those numbers made Gates one of the top-10 producing tight ends for weeks 9 and 10.
Gates is one of those names that’s attractive just because. Now that he has shown flashes of seasons past, owners should leverage his value for a trade while it’s at a high point. After the Chargers’ Week 11 bye, he will face Houston followed by Tampa Bay, two of the harder defenses for TEs in the NFL.

Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles
Ertz had two of his best games this year in weeks 9 and 10. They were not overly impressive performances, but he is taking at least 75 percent of the Eagles’ offensive snaps, and that’s noteworthy. Still, Ertz has yet to score a touchdown this season.
The Eagles offensive coordinator, Frank Reich, said he wants to get Ertz more involved in the red zone offense, according to Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com. His target total also continues to increase weekly. Ertz should see an uptick in weeks 12 and 13, when he has favorable matchups. Sell his potential while he’s seemingly on a high note.
