Welcome to Week 11 of the Daily Fantasy season. Pricing has stabilized as trends have emerged, but there are still bargains to be found and even some higher-priced options that will go underowned and can make a difference in your lineups. This article looks at some of the projected lesser-owned plays at quarterback who could provide huge boosts to your tournament lineups, as well as some trap plays to avoid.
Top daily fantasy football quarterback plays for Week 11
With Week 11 of the NFL season upon us, we take a look at some of the best quarterback values to be found on FanDuel and some players worth fading.

PLAY
Marcus Mariota $8,000 (Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts)
The beat goes on for Mariota, who has now thrown multiple touchdowns in six straight games and had his best performance last Sunday against the Packers with four touchdowns. Mariota’s worst game, from a fantasy points perspective, came against the Colts in Week 7, and even then he threw two touchdowns. Now, with Rishard Matthews having emerged as a go-to receiver to complement DeMarco Murray and Delanie Walker, the Titans offense is running at full capacity and Mariota should thrive in a game with shootout potential.
Kirk Cousins $7,600 (Washington vs. Green Bay Packers)
There is wind in the forecast for the D.C. area on Sunday, but luckily for the quarterbacks and receivers, this is the Sunday night game and the weather is expected to calm by kickoff. This is good news for Cousins, who is showing signs of his 2015 form and gets to face a Packers defense that got shredded last week against the Titans. DeSean Jackson has a chance to return, which only makes Cousins more dangerous as a passer.
Russell Wilson $7,400 (Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles)
Owners of Wilson in season-long leagues are finally being rewarded for their patience. DFS players have much shorter memories, so his early season struggles should have no bearing on whether to get Wilson into lineups. The short answer is: Yes. Wilson still isn’t running the way we’d like to see him, but he has five touchdown passes over the past two games, both of which he topped 26 FanDuel points. The Eagles defense made Matt Ryan look bad last week, but this is a whole different test on the road.
Tyrod Taylor $7,300 (Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals)
We haven’t called “TyGod’s” name lately, but it might be time to go back to the dynamic quarterback. Taylor has rushed for a touchdown in each of his last three games and is facing a Bengals defense that’s middle of the pack against the pass and toward the bottom against the run. This is a prime spot to stack Taylor and LeSean McCoy and collect all the Buffalo touchdowns in this game.
Blake Bortles $7,200 (Jacksonville Jaguars at Detroit Lions)
For most of the year, targeting Detroit’s pass defense has been a solid strategy, and Bortles has shown just enough signs of life the past few weeks to give me confidence to make this recommendation. Against similarly weak defenses recently, Bortles has put up 29 and 22 FanDuel points. His price is favorable, and it’s doubtful many players are going to be on him. If all goes well, he could win a tournament this weekend.
NAY
Carson Palmer $7,400 (Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings)
The reality is that Palmer has only topped 17 FanDuel points once since Week 2. This is David Johnson’s offense, and Palmer’s chances to go off this week have to be tempered by the opponent. With guys like Wilson and Taylor (and even Bortles) in the same price range, counting on Palmer to exceed recent performance against a solid pass defense on the road seems unwise.
Jared Goff $6,000 (Los Angeles Rams vs. Miami Dolphins)
He’s the cheapest starter on the board, but given all the “he’s not ready” commentary out there, this a punt that I would not fair catch. The Dolphins defense just destroyed a savvy veteran in Philip Rivers. Let Goff show he belongs under center in a real game before putting your trust in him.
