Fantasy football projections, Week 11: Jaguars-Lions featuring Chris Ivory, Matthew Stafford, Golden Tate, more
We break down the Week 11 matchup between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Detroit Lions.

Jacksonville Jaguars
A season that started with so much promise for Jacksonville now looks to be lost. The team is winless in the last four games. Running back Chris Ivory was supposed to give both the Jaguars and fantasy owners a boost as he appeared to be taking over the starting running back position. Unfortunately he followed up an impressive 107-yard rushing performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9 with just 31 against the Houston Texans last week. T.J. Yeldon isn’t really faring much better however so Ivory will still be the workhorse heading into the game against Detroit. It’s hard to trust anyone on Jacksonville’s roster right now. Ivory is a wild card as far as reaching his projections in Week 11 is concerned.
Wide receiver Allen Robinson offers perhaps a little bit more stability in that regard. He too has had an off year but it’s not for a lack of opportunities. He’s been targeted 40 times in the last three games alone. Week 10 represented his best fantasy performance of the season. Robinson finished with nine catches on 12 targets for 107 yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion against the Texans. He’s now scored in back-to-back games for the first time this season. Fantasy owners can only hope he keeps it going against the Lions. As long as he gets between 12 and 15 targets again he should surpass his projections. It’s about time he found his groove.
Detroit Lions
If not for guys like Tom Brady and Matt Ryan, quarterback Matthew Stafford could be garnering regular season MVP consideration this year. He’s led his team to four wins in the last five games. Unfortunately it hasn’t necessarily translated to the gaudy yardage and touchdown totals we used to see from Stafford when he was throwing to Calvin Johnson. In a gutsy win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 10, he was how to just 219 passing yards. Fortunately Stafford was still able to find two touchdowns. He did throw an interception in the game, but it was his first since Week 4. The Jacksonville Jaguars don’t possess anywhere near the defensive capabilities of the Vikings, so Stafford should be able to crush his projected totals in Week 11.
Hopefully wide receiver Golden Tate can help the cause of both Stafford and his fantasy owners. Despite the fact Stafford wasn’t exactly at his best against the Vikings, Tate put together one of the better games of his year. He caught 11 of 12 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown against Minnesota. While he did have a slow start to the season, it’s important to note that Tate has received at least nine targets in each of the last four games. At that kind of volume should be able to produce against the Jaguars, a team that has been very generous to wide receivers in 2016.
