Fantasy football projections, Week 11: Cardinals-Vikings featuring David Johnson, Stefon Diggs, Kyle Rudolph, more
We break down the Week 11 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and the Minnesota Vikings.

Arizona Cardinals
Running back David Johnson was supposed to dominate the San Francisco 49ers in Week 10. He did it despite rushing for just 55 yards in the game. One of his 19 carries resulted in a touchdown and he also added five catches for 46 yards and another score. Of all of the players projected to be in top form right from the beginning of the season, Johnson has probably delivered the most accurate results. He just keeps on ticking. While the Minnesota Vikings are a top notch team defensively this season, DJ will continue to be the focal point of the offense moving forward. His ability to surpass his projections is as predictable an outcome as any fantasy owner could possibly hope. He should deliver yet another strong performance in Week 11.
The same goes for wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald. He’s not considered among the elite class of fantasy receiver anymore because of his advanced age. And yet, he has 68 receptions on the season. That’s second only to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Antonio Brown. Fits exploited San Francisco’s secondary in Week 10, posting a season-high 132 receiving yards to go with 12 receptions on 18 targets. He’s now seen double digits in targets in three straight games. He underwent an MRI on his knee following the game, but he is expected to be ready for fantasy owners in Week 11.
Minnesota Vikings
After seeing his production levels slow down following a return from injury, it appears wide receiver Stefon Diggs has gotten himself back to full speed. His dominating performances in the last two games are evidence of that. Diggs has caught 26 of 29 targets over that stretch totaling 244 receiving yards. While he didn’t score a touchdown in either game, the volume is enough to put him among the league’s elite fantasy pass catchers. He’s got breakaway speed and nobody else in the Vikings’ receiving corps possesses. The Arizona Cardinals may however succeed in slowing him down. They rank first in the NFL at defending fantasy wideouts. Diggs’ performance on Sunday will depend on Sam Bradford’s confidence and accuracy. The tandem will have to team up to beat some of the best cornerbacks in football in Week 11.
Due to the difficult matchup, it’s likely that Bradford is forced to look down the middle and throw the ball to tight end Kyle Rudolph in order to keep the chains moving. Rudolph’s owners certainly don’t have a problem with that. After being limited to just a single reception in Week 9, Rudolph was a much bigger part of the game plan in Washington last week. He caught five passes on a targets for 69 yards and a touchdown. Although Week 9 was a bit of a letdown for fantasy owners, the good news is that Rudolph has scored in back to back games for the first time since September. He will be a busy man against the Cardinals in Week 11.
