Finding a good tight end this late in the season is still difficult to pull off. Once again in Week 11, top TEs in the league underperformed and many unknown or forgotten players stepped up or went off. So with two weeks left ’til fantasy playoffs, which TE is worth dealing and picking up? Here are the tight ends to buy and sell for Week 12.
Fantasy football trade advice, Week 12: Buy-low, sell-high tight end trade candidates
Which tight ends have the best and worst trade values heading into Week 12 of the 2016 NFL season?

Buy Low
Vance McDonald, San Francisco 49ers
Over the past three weeks, McDonald is averaging 60 receiving yards and has a pair of touchdowns. He is one of the brighter spots on the 49ers offense of late and leads the team in touchdown receptions this season.
McDonald will not slow down any time soon. As the 49ers look at some mediocre defenses in the coming weeks, McDonald has some good opportunities for breakout performances. Kaepernick is clicking with his TE and his target count should stay at six or more. Grab McDonald as a cheap streamer with scoring potential.

Jared Cook, Green Bay Packers
Well welcome back Jared Cook. In Week 11, Cook caught six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown after missing seven weeks of the regular season with an ankle injury. He also led the Packers in receiving yards Sunday despite having multiple drops and a lost fumble.
Expect Cooks is going to get snatched up quickly off waivers. He probably will not have as big of a game again, but he has promise as a check-down target and as a red-zone threat. If he and Aaron Rodgers find their rhythm, Cooks is a steal of a sleeper pick.

Sell High
Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
Kelce had his second 100-plus-yard receiving game of the season Sunday. He went off for a season-high 108 yards on seven catches and was targeted nine times, leading the Chiefs in all categories Week 11. It was the Pro Bowler’s best game this season.
Many owners desperate for a tight end will jump at the idea of a Kelce resurgence. The standout TE has not scored much this season, but that can be shrugged off as positions decline. Realistically, this could be Kelce’s peak for the season. Shop him high for a good rate on return now.

Coby Fleener, New Orleans Saints
Fleener relocated the end zone Sunday and that was about it. Since Week 6, the five-year veteran has struggled to produce much of anything for the Saints. He has also struggled to hold on to the ball with weekly costly drops. Still, Fleener is one of New Orleans’ top red-zone threats as he is the second-most targeted player inside the 20-yard line.
The Saints are on the cusp of a light schedule that should benefit Fleener majorly the next few weeks. Sell his potential to have a great Week 12, 13, and 14. Given that the tight end position is so thin, owners should bite especially if he is a part of a package deal.
