Fantasy football playoffs are one week away in most leagues. As the season comes down to the wire, owners need to make moves that give them the best chance for a playoff run. Tight ends have been a particularly tricky position to figure out this season. So which tight ends should owners be paying attention to this late in the year? Here are the tight ends owners should look to buy and sell for Week 13.
Fantasy Football trade advice, Week 13: Buy-low, sell-high tight end trade candidates
Which tight ends have the best and worst trade values heading into Week 13 of the 2016 NFL season.

Buy Low
Hunter Henry, San Diego Chargers
Henry had more targets and receptions than three-time Pro Bowler Antonio Gates in Week 12 netting 20 yards and a touchdown in the win over Houston. This does not mean he is replacing Gates by any means, but he has the potential to pick up receptions when defenses shut Gates down. Also, the Chargers passing game is so depleted due to injury, the TEs are bound to see more action down the stretch.
Henry has been one of the best players in a thin tight end position overall this season. The rookie TE played well during Gates’ three week absence and leads all Chargers tight ends in receiving yards. He is a good pickup that should payoff in the upcoming weeks as a streamer.

Ladarius Green, Pittsburgh Steelers
Confidence is growing in Pittsburgh for Green. He missed the first nine weeks of the regular season with a knee injury. Since returning Week 10, Green has 97 yards receiving including 67 yards on 2 receptions in Week 12. Steelers Head Coach Mike Tomlin has been vocal about having his 5th-year TE back saying he is close to being football ready now that he is fully healthy.
Sounds like the Steelers are going to get Green more involved in the offense going down the stretch. With light match ups against the New York Giants and Cincinnati on the horizon, Green is a easy waiver pickup with a lots of potential.

Sell High
Jordan Reed, Washington
Reed is an excellent TE that is unfortunately injury prone. He lit up Dallas for 95 yards and two touchdowns in Week 12, but he also hurt his shoulder late in the first half. That injury turned out to be a Grade 3 shoulder separation and Reed is now questionable to play on the road Sunday against Arizona. He is
When healthy Reed is undoubtedly one of the top tight ends in the league. However, he finds himself once again at risk for missing at least once if not multiple games down the stretch. Sell him quickly this week to take full advantage of his value before he just warms the bench.

Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings
Rudolph notched a season-high nine catches for 64 yards against Detroit Thursday. It was the six-year veteran’s second 60 plus receiving yard game in three weeks. Overall, Rudolph is second on the Vikings in targets and receptions behind Stefan Diggs. He is clearly a large part of Minnesota’s passing scheme.
Despite the team’s confidence in Rudolph his output changes dramatically week to week. Week 11 he had two catches for 12 yards and in his first meeting with Detroit, the league’s worst defense defending the tight end, Rudolph’s lone catch went for one yard. It just so happen to be a touchdown. The Vikings host Dallas Thursday which should be an upside matchup, but Rudolph appeared to have tweaked his shoulder late in the game Week 12. Sell Rudolph while he looks hot and before he trails off again.
