Fantasy football playoffs are one week away in most leagues. As the season comes down to the wire, owners need to make moves that give them the best chance for a playoff run. So which running backs should owners have their eye on? There are some rookies worth grabbing of waivers with a lot of potential. Also a couple veterans that may have seen their best games this season and are prime to deal. Here are the running backs to buy and sell for Week 13.
Fantasy football trade advice, Week 13: Buy-low, sell-high running back trade candidates
Which running backs have the best and worst trade values heading into Week 13 of the 2016 NFL season?

Buy Low
Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans
The Titans are shifting more work to Henry now that starter DeMarco Murray is battling a foot injury. The rookie running back is making the most of the opportunity too. Week 12 Henry rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown, taking over some red zone snaps for Murray. Monday head coach Mike Mularkey even said Henry would be used more in short yardage situations, according to Titans beat writer Jim Wyatt.
Henry is a big back and he is likely to see more shots at the end zone now that the Titans have some confidence in him. With Murray ailing, the 2016 second round draft pick is a cheap RB or WR 2 buy that can pay off big time in the playoffs.

Wendell Smallwood, Philadelphia Eagles
Smallwood is another rookie getting getting a chance due to injury. The Eagles have essentially lost Ryan Matthews and though he is able to play veteran Darren Sproles is ailing so, Smallwood is the new starting running back in Philadelphia. Monday night, Smallwood rushed for 37 yards and caught one pass for 10 yards in his first start.
The Eagles situation is dire and that bodes well for Smallwood. The team plans to keep Sproles as a back up RB which means Smallwood will shares the backfield responsibilities pretty evenly. He has some streaming potential the next two weeks against weak rushing defenses. As a very low buy Smallwood is a rookie worth going after this week.

Sell High
Jonathan Stewart, Carolina Panthers
Stewart looked like his ole self Sunday, rushing for 96 yards and two touchdowns in the loss to Oakland. One touchdown was a season-high 47 yard burst up the middle that looked reminiscent of his 2015 Pro Bowl season. Plus, Stewart is actually taking for goal line rushes than Cam Newton this season. So he is back right?
Probably not. Stewart averaged 37 yards a game the previous three outings against average defenses. The Panthers struggles are prevalent in the running game, so Week 12 should be considered more of an anomaly than norm. Sell to owners that are buying Stewart’s hype now while he is on a high note.

Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints
Ingram carved up Los Angeles Sunday. He notched his second 100-plus yard game and with a rushing and receiving touchdown of the season in Week 12. It was also his second game averaging at least 10 yards per carry. Ingram was out touched by back up Tim Hightower, but it seems that the six-year veteran has once again secured his role as the main man in the Saints backfield for now.
Thing about Ingram is he has been streaky this season. He put up similar numbers against San Francisco in Week 9, but the next two weeks Ingram only rushed for 78 yards combined and no touchdowns. This peak could go south quick. Ingram faces a 16th ranked Detroit rushing defense that has only allowed 5 rushing touchdowns Week 13 followed by division foe Tampa Bay. Sell Ingram high now.
