We are now entering Week 15 of the fantasy football season and the playoffs are in full swing. The waiver wire is mostly an afterthought at this point — owners should be focused on using their top starters to carry them to fantasy glory.
Fantasy football waiver wire: 5 quarterbacks to target for Week 15
The fantasy playoffs roll on as we head towards the end of the season.

That said, the wire will still be a factor depending on your specific circumstances, so you should still keep an eye on it. With that in mind, here are the top wire options at quarterback this week, owned in less than 50 percent of Yahoo! standard leagues.
Colin Kaepernick, San Francisco 49ers (36 percent)
After a spectacular dud in Week 13, Kaepernick didn’t quite bounce back against the New York Jets, throwing for just 133 yards and a touchdown on 15-of-26 passing. It’s fair to wonder if his fantasy window has closed with the 49ers clearly checked out and packing it in for the season. Still, he gets another friendly matchup with the Atlanta Falcons defense and will be a last-gasp streaming option.
Sam Bradford, Minnesota Vikings (11 percent)
Bradford put in a strong performance against a good Jacksonville Jaguars defense, throwing for 292 yards and a touchdown in the win. It wasn’t a sexy stat line by any means, but Bradford doesn’t commit turnovers and has a pretty steady fantasy floor, if not much of a ceiling. He’ll be another appealing QB2 option against the Indianapolis Colts’ shaky defense.
Trevor Siemian, Denver Broncos (10 percent)
The Broncos have all but given up on the running game, so Siemian will have volume going for him, if nothing else. He attempted an absurd 51 passes in a 13-10 loss, completing 35 of them for 334 yards and a touchdown. The Broncos offense has all sorts of problems right now, but if Siemian puts up numbers like that, fantasy owners won’t complain. He’s more of a desperation play this week when the Broncos face the New England Patriots.
Matt Barkley, Chicago Bears (3 percent)
2016 has been a deeply bizarre year on many levels, so sure, let’s just roll with the idea that Barkley might actually be decent. The Bears have been 1-2 with him under center, and might even have been 3-0 if costly mistakes didn’t doom them on comeback attempts. Barkley had another efficient performance against the Detroit Lions, completing 20 of 32 passes for 212 yards and a touchdown. He’s also getting Alshon Jeffery back from suspension this week and gets an average Green Bay Packers defense next. We’re not saying you should actually start Barkley in the fantasy playoffs, but ... well, stranger things have happened this year.
Matt Moore, Miami Dolphins (less than 1 percent)
Ryan Tannehill is out of commission with a sprained ACL and MCL, so Moore will step in with the Dolphins in the middle of a playoff chase. It’s not an enviable spot for any backup QB, much less one who hasn’t had regular playing time since 2011. Moore has a good matchup with the New York Jets’ bad pass defense, but he has a short week to prepare with the game taking place on Saturday. He’s only a dart throw in two-QB leagues at this point.
