Welcome to Week 15 of the daily fantasy season. While season-long leagues are down to their playoff weeks, leaving the majority of those owners with no games to play, the DFS world keeps chugging right along. Here we look at some of the projected lesser-owned plays at tight end that could provide huge boosts to your tournament lineups, as well as some trap plays to avoid.
Top daily fantasy football tight end plays for Week 15
With Week 15 of the NFL season upon us, we take a look at some of the best tight end values to be found on FanDuel and some players worth fading.

PLAY
Jermaine Gresham $4,500 (Arizona Cardinals vs. New Orleans Saints)
Yep, that really says Jermaine Gresham. With Michael Floyd off the team and John Brown limited because of illness, the targets have to go somewhere, and Gresham has 23 targets over the past three games. Carson Palmer should be looking Gresham’s way a little more with the limited available receivers, and at the price minimum, Gresham allows for roster flexibility. There are a few $4,500 players listed here, but Gresham is the best of the bunch.
Antonio Gates $5,300 (San Diego Chargers vs. Oakland Raiders)
Things could not be much worse for the Chargers in San Diego. They are almost certain to leave for Los Angeles after the season, and their playoff hopes are gone. The lone bright spot is that Gates is three touchdowns away from setting the all-time record for tight ends, and you can be sure Philip Rivers will give Gates every opportunity to get all three in this home game on Sunday. And with Melvin Gordon sidelined, there are a lot of red zone looks to be had.
Martellus Bennett $5,500 (New England Patriots at Denver Broncos)
Bennett was back and back big on Monday night, scoring his first touchdown since Week 5. The Broncos have a great pass defense, but they are thin at linebacker this week, and Tom Brady might look to exploit that weakness with Bennett. He is definitely back on the radar at a discounted price.
Charles Clay $4,500 (Buffalo Bills vs. Cleveland Browns)
The Browns have been the worst team against the tight end position all season. It might be the only time all year we recommend Clay, but this is definitely the week to try him, considering the matchup and his minimum salary.
Ryan Griffin $4,500 (Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars)
This play is dependent on C.J. Fiedorowicz being ruled out because of a concussion. If he can’t go, the Jaguars can be exploited by opposing tight ends, and Griffin has some chemistry with Brock Osweiler. He should have near-zero ownership, making him a low-cost contrarian option.
NAY
Delanie Walker $6,100 (Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs)
The Chiefs are a tough matchup for tight ends, and Walker has not been the same productive player he was early in the season. With so much value on the slate, there’s no need to spend up for this tough matchup.
Coby Fleener $5,100 (Saints at Cardinals)
Maybe if this game was at the Superdome, and maybe if Tyrann Mathieu was sitting this one out — but it isn’t, and he isn’t. Next!
