Adrian Peterson returning in Week 15 has fantasy owners gleaming with excitement
Fantasy playoff races tighten with the return of Adrian Peterson

He was originally slated to return Week 16, but when the Vikings saw Peterson practice, “one person said ‘He looks like Adrian. He’s amazing,’” according to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport. Being one of the stars and leaders of the Vikings, Peterson’s return is a very welcomed addition as they attempt to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Fantasy Projections: The return of Adrian Peterson is an exciting surprise for fantasy owners who either kept him on their roster or were able to pick him up on waivers. With owners deeply rooted in playoff races, any addition helps, especially at the running back position. Owners should be cautious about his early production but may still be inclined to start him at RB or Flex given his historical consistency.
