Fantasy football projections, Week 13: Broncos-Jaguars featuring Emmanuel Sanders, Devontae Booker, Allen Robinson, more
We break down the Week 13 matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Denver Broncos
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders put together arguably his best fantasy performance of the 2016 season in a Week 12 overtime loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He caught seven passes for 162 yards and a touchdown in the game. The performance marked just his second 100-yard game of the season. Going into Week 13, Sanders faces a Jaguars pass defense that has given up the eighth-fewest number of fantasy points to wide receivers this season. They also rank third in the league in passing yards allowed as the Jaguars average just under 205 passing yards conceded per contest. Given Paxton Lynch, who is starting in place of Trevor Siemian, isn’t exactly the second coming of Peyton Manning, it might be a good idea to bench Sanders despite his spectacular effort last week. He likely won’t challenge his projections in Week 13. He’s still worth starting in PPR formats, however.
For fantasy owners looking for greater certainty and a higher floor, running back Devontae Booker may be the best option on the Broncos’ roster this week. While he has averaged less than 4 yards per carry in four straight games, Booker does have 48 carries over the last two weeks. That kind of volume is hard to ignore. He finished with 101 total yards against the Chiefs, and there’s no reason he can’t do that against Jacksonville in Week 13. The Jaguars have given up 13 rushing touchdowns this season, ranking the 27th in the NFL in category. A score and 100 total yards will definitely make Booker’s fantasy owners happy on Sunday.
Jacksonville Jaguars
After finding the end zone in three straight games, wide receiver Allen Robinson posted an absolute dud against the Buffalo Bills in Week 12. He finished the game with just two catches on four targets for 24 yards. It’s the second straight game that Robinson has been held under 25 receiving yards. The Broncos have given up fewer points to fantasy wide receivers than any other team in the league. Nobody questions Robinson’s talent, but only a completely insane fantasy owner would trust the Jaguars offensively right now. While it’s highly unlikely that he fails to catch more than three passes for the third game in a row, it’s hard to envision a scenario where Robinson gets passed the Broncos’ secondary unit for any significant gains in Week 13. He should finish well below his projected totals on Sunday. All in all, it’s been a difficult year for Robinson and his fantasy owners.
The only Jaguars wide receiver worth any consideration right now given the difficult matchup against Denver is Marqise Lee. He has caught exactly four passes in each of the last four games. He turned one of those catches into his second touchdown of the season last week against Buffalo. The effort marked the second straight week that Lee has found the end zone after failing to do so in any other game this season. It’s obviously hard to count on him or any other Jaguars player week to week, but it seems Lee is heating up. He might actually be the only player on the team that surpasses his projections against the Broncos. Lee is worth taking a flyer on for fantasy owners looking to gamble in Week 13.
