Ebron suffered a sprained ankle in training camp that kept him out for a few weeks, but he returned to practice shortly after the preseason ended and got in full sessions this week. It’s still unknown if he will be on a snap count following several weeks of being on the shelf. Ebron had 47 catches for 537 yards and five touchdowns last season.
Fantasy impact: Ebron has a good fantasy matchup against the Colts’ injury-riddled defense, but it’s hard to tell how much he’ll actually play. The Lions could use a new red zone presence after Calvin Johnson retired, and Ebron has a chance to fill that role. But first, he has to show he’s healthy and ready to contribute. Ebron is worth a speculative start for desperate Rob Gronkowski owners, but he’s a low-ceiling option in standard leagues.
