Welcome to the Divisional playoff round of the Daily Fantasy season. Playoff DFS presents its own challenges with limited player pools and more defined roles for starters. That said, there are still plenty of value opportunities across all positions. This article looks at some of the projected lesser-owned plays at running back who could provide huge boosts to your tournament lineups, as well as some trap plays to avoid.

With Divisional playoff weekend upon us, we take a look at some of the best running back values to be found on FanDuel and some players worth fading.

Tevin Coleman $5,900 (Atlanta Falcons vs. Seattle Seahawks)
First and foremost, these selections are for your RB2 position, as I implore you to put either Le’Veon Bell or Ezekiel Elliott in your lineups. If you can make both work, all the better. But one of them has to be in. That increases the importance of looking for pure salary relief in the RB2 slot. Coleman had something of a dud the first time he faced Seattle, but now he’s at home, he’s healthy, and the Seattle defense isn’t the same without Earl Thomas.
Dion Lewis $5,400 (New England Patriots vs. Houston Texans)
Lewis has been in double digits in carries his past three games, and if he finds the end zone against the Texans, he’s a lock to pay off his salary. It would be nice if Lewis were more involved in the passing game, but maybe the Pats have been waiting for this moment to unleash him. His injury woes certainly seem to be behind him now.
Aaron Ripkowski $4,700 (Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys)
This is the salary saver dart throw of the week. There’s no getting away from the fact that Ripkowski has found the end zone in four of his past five games, despite his limited touches. The Packers love using him, though, and if he scores another touchdown this week, he pays off his salary for sure. Winning short-slate tournaments requires a play or two off the beaten path. Ripkowski is that guy this week.

Lamar Miller $7,000 (Texans at Patriots)
I can’t spend that much salary on a guy who could be taken out of the game flow by the end of the first quarter. He didn’t exactly light it up last week against a suspect Raiders run defense. I can’t imagine he’s going to go off against the Patriots in Foxborough.
