Welcome to the Divisional playoff round of the Daily Fantasy season. Playoff DFS presents its own challenges with limited player pools and more defined roles for starters. That said, there are still plenty of value opportunities across all positions. This article looks at some of the projected lesser-owned plays at tight end who could provide huge boosts to your tournament lineups, as well as some trap plays to avoid.
Top daily fantasy football tight end plays for Divisional playoff weekend
With Divisional playoff weekend upon us, we take a look at some of the best tight end values to be found on FanDuel and some players worth fading.

PLAY
Jared Cook $5,400 (Green Bay Packers at Dallas Cowboys)
The best option at tight end is also extremely pricey (7K) in Travis Kelce, so you have to decide if tight end is a place you want to pay up at the expense of other positions. If not, Cook is probably the next best thing at $1,600 less. He hasn’t had a particularly big game lately, but Aaron Rodgers will look for him enough to make the pick worth it.
C.J. Fiedorowicz $4,900 (Houston Texans at New England Patriots)
Don’t love this pick, but since I expect the Texans wide receivers to struggle, the production in the passing game has to go somewhere, and C.J. figures to be Brock Osweiler’s safety blanket all day. This is about receptions and yards, and if he somehow finds the end zone, he could make your day a sweet one.
Jason Witten $4,700 (Cowboys vs. Packers)
Witten actually showed some signs of life over the final two games where he was actually asked to play. One of them included a touchdown. The Packers will give up production to the tight end position, and rookie quarterback Dak Prescott, who is making his first playoff appearance, might want to lean a little on the veteran tight end. It’s more of a salary saver than anything, but Witten might have one decent game left in the tank.
NAY
Jesse James $4,500 (Pittsburgh Steelers at Kansas City Chiefs)
Theoretically, with Ladarius Green set to miss another game, it should open things up for James. But if last week is any indication, the tight ends for the Steelers are staying in to block for Big Ben and Lev Bell. That should be the case this week against the tough Chiefs defense.
