The recent promotion of Bill Lazor to offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals was a big benefit for rookie running back Joe Mixon. The second-round pick had 21 touches in the Bengals’ loss to the Green Bay Packers, matching his touch total through Weeks 1 and 2. He carried the ball 18 times for 62 yards and caught a perfect three passes for 39 yards last Sunday.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 4: What to do with Joe Mixon on Sunday?
The Bengals moved their rookie rusher to the top of the running committee. We look at the fantasy impact.

The Bengals head to Cleveland to take on the Browns Sunday. The Browns are not the easiest team to run against this season, ranking 14th against the run through three games. However, they have given up four rushing touchdowns, a tie for the second-most in the NFL.
Fantasy impact: Signs are looking up for Mixon in Cincinnati. Expect the rookie to emerge as the top dog in the Bengals’ rushing committee under Lazor. Week 3, he had 10 more touches than Jeremy Hill and 13 more than Giovani Bernard. Mixon is not an elite rusher yet, but give him some time. With his new touch volume, he is a safe RB2 option.
