To really compete in fantasy football owners have to get creative with their lineups every week. The draft was just the beginning to building a championship team. A quarter into the season, a lot of owners are making moves as the fantasy studs and duds are starting to reveal themselves. If you can no longer trust Cam Newton or want to find the hottest hand, now is the time to be on the lookout for the hidden gems still out there on waivers and in free agency. Here are the best quarterback options owners should go grab right now.
Fantasy football, Week 4: Best players available at quarterback in waivers, free agency
After solid performances in Week 3, here are the quarterbacks owners should rush to pick up off waivers.

Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars (16 percent)
Bortles lit up the Baltimore Ravens defense in London Sunday. He threw 20 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns. Wow! The Ravens defense is usually very stingy and this performance was definitely a shocker. Now, don’t expect Bortles to have big games like he did in Week 3 every week. The Jaguars have a new commitment to the run and Bortles is still building chemistry with Marqise Lee and Allen Hurns. Sunday the Jaguars face the New York Jets though and coming off such a big game against a good defense, Bortles should be able to clean up against the lowly Jets. Anyone looking for a QB to play this week should really consider Bortles.
Andy Dalton, Cincinnati Bengals (46 percent)
Who knew a change at offensive coordinator would make that much of a difference for Andy Dalton. The first two games of the season The Bengals looked like the worst team in the league without question. Dalton had no touchdowns against the Houston Texans or Baltimore Ravens in Weeks 1 and 2. It did not make sense that the Bengals offense could not find the end zone because they have tons of weapons. After the change at OC in Week 3, Dalton threw two touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers. This week the Bengals draw division and in-state rival Cleveland Browns. Dalton should be able to continue his revival against the Browns secondary, ranked 20th in the NFL against the pass. In deep leagues, Dalton is a cheap buy that can really pay off.
Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills (44 percent)
Taylor just flies under the radar every season. He also makes a fantasy splash when owners least expect him to every season. In Week 3, Taylor led the Bills to a big win over the Denver Broncos with 20 completions for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Through three games, Taylor has thrown for 562 yards, four touchdowns, and just one interception and he has rushed 24 times for 106 yards. Sunday the Bills get another tough opponent the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons defense is strong, but not lights out. Still, if owners do not trust Taylor to have back-to-back big weeks he is worth stashing for later. Week 5 the Bills take on the Cincinnati Bengals and they get the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints in back-to-back weeks after their bye.
