Arizona Cardinals receiver .J.J. Nelson was hot to start the year but the Dallas Cowboys splashed cold water on him in Week 3. He did not catch a pass in the game.
Fantasy football sit/start advice, Week 4: J.J. Nelson
The Cards’ receiver put up a goose egg and needs to bounce back. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy owners have to be shaking their heads. Yet there’s reason to be optimistic this week. Nelson and the Cardinals draw the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football.
Fantasy impact: Nelson put up top flight numbers in the first two weeks of the season, catching a total of 10 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns before being shut out by Dallas.
No one questions his talent, but Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown and other receivers have always been in the mix. Even with a gunslinger like Carson Palmer under center, Nelson has never been more than a flex play in deep leagues.
That being said, in this situation it’s OK to ride someone who’s shown flashes of fire this year. The matchup is favorable and Arizona should run away with it. Start Nelson.
Recommendation: Start
