Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch rushed the ball just six times for 18 yards in a Week 3 loss to Washington. Surprisingly, the high-octane offense of the Raiders just couldn’t get anything going in the contest.
Fantasy football sit/start, Week 4: What to do with Marshawn Lynch
The Oakland Raiders running back has been up and down in 2017. We break down the fantasy implications.

So far this season he’s averaging just over 3.8 yards per carry, which isn’t bad. What one has to remember is that Lynch is not the focal point of the offense. Quarterback Derek Carr has a lot of options he can turn to in the passing game as well.
Fantasy impact: Given all of the weapons available in Oakland and the Denver Broncos’ stout run defense. It’s going to be pretty hard for Lynch to get going this week.
Yes he is a beast, but he’s just not in the same situation he was in during his time in Seattle. Fantasy owners will start him in deeper formats but they may be less than impressed with the output. Sit him.
Recommendation: Sit
