Carlos Hyde injury update: What the 49ers RB’s status means vs. the Cardinals
Carlos Hyde is iffy to play against a stout Cardinals run defense.

The San Francisco 49ers are listing Carlos Hyde as questionable for Week 4. Head coach Kyle Shanahan added Friday that Hyde will be a game-time decision when his team faces the Arizona Cardinals.
Hyde is off to a strong start this season, rushing for 253 yards and two scores on 49 carries. He is also on pace for a career year as a pass-catcher, hauling in 12 grabs for 61 yards on 16 targets.
However, Hyde is battling a hip injury that had him limited in practice this week, He suffered the injury in the first quarter of last week’s 41-39 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but he remained in the game while running for two scores and 84 yards on 25 runs.
Fantasy Impact: If Hyde is active in Week 4, he faces a Cardinals defense allowing the fifth-fewest fantasy points to running backs this season. In two games vs. Arizona in 2016, Hyde had just 92 yards and one score on 35 carries. Keep him benched this week.
