Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery has not had an easy transition into the NFC East. Drawing some of the best corners in the NFL, Jeffery has 20 catches for 246 yards and two touchdowns through the first five weeks. He was held under 40 yards receiving in three games and only has one game with more than four receptions. Jeffery’s best performance this season was Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs when he caught seven passes for 92 yards and a score.
Fantasy football, Week 6: Alshon Jeffery, start or sit for TNF?
Jeffery has been quiet so far, but can he bounce back Thursday night? We look at the fantasy impact.

Thursday night Jeffery has a chance to finally bounce back. The Carolina Panthers defense is no slouch, but Jeffery will not be looking across at a shutdown cornerback this week. Jeffery caught six passes for 97 yards and a touchdown in his last game against Carolina.
Fantasy impact: Jeffery has been a fantasy letdown, but he is always a threat whenever he takes the field. Thursday night, Jeffery could have a big game or once again play decoy in the passing game. Based on the last four games, the latter seems more likely, and if the Eagles get a lead they are going to run the ball and eat up the clock. Seems to be more risk than reward on Jeffery despite a better matchup.
