Fantasy football, Week 6: Best players available at tight end in waivers, free agency
These waiver dive tight ends have momentum as they head into favorable matchups in Week 6.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins, New York Jets (56 percent)
Seferian-Jenkins came back from suspension in Week 3 and became the top target in the Jets’ passing offense. Through three games, ASJ caught 15 passes on 18 targets for 106 yards and he led the team in targets and receptions last week. Sunday ASJ will face the New England Patriots one of the softest defenses in the league. The Patriots are ranked the third worst team at defending against tight ends. Available in just under half of the Yahoo! Sports leagues, ASJ is a smart pick up across all leagues for Sunday.
A.J. Derby, Denver Broncos (3 percent)
Derby has to feel good coming out of the Broncos’ bye week, after posting a career-high 75 yards and first career touchdown on four catches in the win over the Oakland Raiders. He led the team in targets, receptions and receiving yards in Week 4. Sunday Derby gets a cupcake matchup against the New York Giants. The Giants are ranked the second worse team at defending against opposing tight ends, giving up 332 yards and five touchdowns to big men up the middle. Derby is a great bye week fill-in streamer this week.
George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (7 percent)
Kittle had the best game of his rookie season in Week 5. He caught seven passes for 83 yards and his first career touchdown in San Francisco’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts. Most of his catches and his score came on the 49ers’ last drive of the game. Kittle has a lot of momentum going up against Washington Sunday. Washington’s defense has allowed TEs to be the top receiver in every game this season and has allowed over 90 yards receiving to three out of four opposing big men. Kittle has an opportunity to have back-to-back big weeks Sunday and, available in most leagues, he is a great streamer for Week 6.
