So which wide receivers should owners consider picking up this week? Whether you are looking for a streamer or player to stash for later, these are the best available wideouts still available on waivers right now.
Fantasy football, Week 6: Best players available at wide receiver in waivers, free agency
The wideout position is thin due to injuries and bye weeks. We look at the best receivers still available on waivers.

Roger Lewis, New York Giants (20 percent)
The New York Giants are down to one healthy wide receiver and that is Roger Lewis. Normally buried on the depth chart, Lewis was the only receiver to finish Week 5. He had one catch for 29 yards in the loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. As the only option left, Lewis will have his fair share of touches and most of the targets Sunday against the Denver Broncos. In deep leagues, Lewis is a pick up that can get owners through the bye week stretch.
Jermaine Kearse, New York Jets (41 percent)
Kearse has been the best receiver on the New York Jets since coming over from Seattle during the preseason. Through five games, Kearse has a team-high 22 receptions, 220 yards and three touchdowns. Kearse struggled the last three games, but he has a great matchup against the New England Patriots Sunday. The Patriots have the worst passing defense in the NFL. Kearse is a smart streaming play this week.
Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams (44 percent)
Of late, Kupp has struggled to produce for the Los Angeles Rams. However, he is still one of the top targets in the passing game. Kupp had eight targets in the Week 5 loss to Seattle, he caught 3 passes for 44 yards in the loss. This week Kupp faces a tough Jacksonville Jaguars secondary, but things ease up for the rookie Weeks 7 through 10 with a bye week in Week 8. As one of the top receivers in the Rams’ offense, Kupp’s season is bound to turn around. He is worth stashing on the bench for later in the season.
