The Green Bay Packers are listing Ty Montgomery as questionable to face the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6.
Ty Montgomery injury update: How to handle Packers RB vs. Vikings
The Packers’ backfield just got a lot more interesting with Ty Montgomery and Aaron Jones fighting for touches.

Montgomery opened the season as the Packers’ top running back, a role he was thriving in. His receiving skills make him especially valuable in PPR leagues, as he’s caught 18 passes in what amounts to three games this season.
However, Montgomery suffered a rib injury early in Green Bay’s Week 4 win over the Chicago Bears. It was initially thought to be a multi-week injury, but he’s now in line for a return in Week 6.
That doesn’t mean he’ll get his starting spot back. Aaron Jones has been thriving with Montgomery out, and it looks like Jones will be the starter this week.
Fantasy advice: If Montgomery plays this week, he faces a Vikings defense allowing the ninth-fewest fantasy points to running backs over the last three weeks. Even if he is active, keep Montgomery benched this week.
