Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin admitted to being tired in his first game of the season. He says he’s ready for a regular workload in Week 6 and that having the last 10 days off has been helpful.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 6: What to do with Doug Martin
The Bucs’ running back is looking at an increased workload in Week 6. We break down the fantasy implications.

That’s good news for fantasy owners, and bad news for the upcoming opponent, the Arizona Cardinals.
Fantasy impact: Martin looked good in his return to action against the New England Patriots last week. He rushed the ball 13 times for 74 yards and a touchdown.
The Cardinals present a much tougher matchup on the ground than New England however. Arizona ranks eighth in the league against the run this season. Martin should be able to balance that out a bit with an increased workload.
While the opponent represents a difficult challenge, owners in deep leagues have likely been waiting for him to get back in the lineup. He’s got to be a starter. Those in eight-team leagues might have better options.
Recommendation: Start
