Oakland Raiders veteran receiver Michael Crabtree is shouldering the receiving corps this season. He had the team’s longest grab (23 yards) and the lone touchdown in Week 6. Through the first six games, Crabtree has a team-high 25 receptions, 304 yards, and five touchdowns. He has four more receptions and touchdowns and 95 more receiving yards than Oakland’s next-top receiver, TE Jared Cook.
Fantasy football start/sit, Week 7: What to do with Michael Crabtree for TNF
Crabtree’s fantasy value should stay steady despite having a less than 100 percent quarterback under center.

The Kansas City Chiefs do not play that well against the pass, but all of the Raiders’ receivers are going to have a tough time while QB Derek Carr is playing with a fractured back. Historically, Crabtree has struggled against his division rivals. He has been held under six receptions and 50 yards in each matchup with the Chiefs.
Fantasy impact: It is hard to trust the Raiders passing game right now, however, if owners want to take a gamble on one of Oakland’s receivers, Crabtree is the best option. Crabtree seems to be the only receiver that can put together any type of fantasy relevant games right now. He is going to take a hit while Carr is hurt, but he also has the best chance of finding the end zone. Since Amari Cooper will likely draw Chiefs shutdown corner, Marcus Peters, Crabtree should be free enough to do some damage against their otherwise soft secondary.
