Shopping the waivers this week is crucial for a lot of owners with big-name wideouts like Minnesota Viking WR Stephon Diggs and Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders out, several receivers questionable for Sunday, and Houston and Detriot on bye. Other deep threats will have a new QB under center including Green Bay Packers receivers Jordy Nelson and Davante Adams, two of Yahoo! Sports top-five wide receiving fantasy scorers.
Fantasy football, Week 7: Best players available at wide receiver in waivers, free agency
Owners need to go pick up these receiving threats off waivers because of their fantasy potential in Week 7.

If your receiving core looks thin all of a sudden, there is no need to panic just yet. There are some waiver dives out there that can fill those voids for at least this Sunday and possible for the rest of the season. Looking for the best matchups and streaming options, here are the best available players at wide receiver on waivers this week.
Robert Woods, Los Angeles Rams (24 percent)
Woods leads the Rams receiving core in targets, receptions, and yards through six games this season. With 322 yards he has 100 more yards receiving yards than deep threat Sammy Watkins. Woods’ only downside is he does not have any touchdowns yet. Still, with Watkins getting most of the attention from defenses, Woods has a chance to blow up weekly. Sunday against Arizona Woods could have a huge game if he is matched up with Justin Bethel in London. Woods is one of the most valuable receiving options still available in most leagues.
John Brown, Arizona Cardinals (61 percent)
Brown has touchdowns in back-to-back weeks. Since returning to the Cardinals in Week 4 Brown has average 17 yards per catch with eight catches for 136 yards on 18 targets. Brown is going to see a lot of action going forward with his quad problem is hopefully completely in his rearview mirror now. The passing game is also opening up with the Adrian Peterson thining out defenses up front. Expect to see a lot of Brown against the Rams in London Sunday. Available in many leagues Brown can be a key addition for owners with holes at receiver.
Taylor Gabriel, Atlanta Falcons (27 percent)
Gabriel moved up the Falcons target list last week with Mohammed Sanu sidelined with a hamstring injury. He saw a season-high eight targets in the loss to the Miami Dolphins, but he only caught half of those passes for 39 yards. Despite a disappointing day, Gabriel has a lot of upside heading into Sunday’s meeting with the New England Patriots. His last game against New England, Super Bowl 51, Gabriel caught three passes for 76 yards. The Patriots defense is much worse now so Gabriel has tons of upside if Sanu does not play. He is worth the add this week just stay aware of Sanu’s status for Sunday.
