Arizona Cardinals wide receiver John Brown has emerged as Arizona’s second-best option in the passing game. He’s scored touchdowns in back-to-back games.
Fantasy football Week 7: John Brown, start or sit?
The Cards have a new No. 2 receiver. We break down the fantasy implications.

The Los Angeles Rams are the opponent in Week 7. They have allowed the ninth-fewest number of fantasy points to the wide receiver position this year.
Fantasy impact: Brown has been targeted 18 times over the last three weeks and it’s clear that Carson Palmer favors him over J.J. Nelson at the moment. There’s no question Larry Fitzgerald is the team’s top dog, but that next spot is Brown.
He’s got speed and he can get open down the field. That’s why his number of targets grossly outweighs his number of catches. He can be boom or bust.
For now, fantasy owners are claiming him off the waiver wire hoping for more boom. That’s highly likely should he continue to get targets. In deep leagues, Brown has to be in starting lineups, particularly where many receiver slots on a roster need to be filled.
Recommendation: Start
