Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer is set to start against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. He threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.
Fantasy football Week 7: Carson Palmer, start or sit?
The Cards quarterback is averaging over 300 passing yards per game. We break down the fantasy implications.

Should you start him against the Rams?
Fantasy impact: While Palmer did throw for three touchdowns last week, he’s got a new weapon at his disposal that might take something away from his numbers. That weapon is running back Adrian Peterson. Peterson rushed 26 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns last week in his Cardinals debut.
This week Peterson faces the worst fantasy rush defense in the league. Thus, fantasy owners should expect Palmer to take a backseat to Peterson this Sunday. His numbers will suffer. Don’t even bother projecting three touchdown passes and don’t be surprised if Palmer throws for fewer than 300 yards this week.
Palmer is still a great secondary option at quarterback, but this week he might underwhelm.
